In addition, the Solar Flip includes a separate LCD screen that indicates the batteries charge status and a timed safety feature. The LCD can be turned on with the push of a button anytime and indicates when charging is complete, it will also notify users if there is a problem with any of the batteries you are trying to charge.
It includes a timer safety feature that protects the batteries from being over-charged. Once the time limit is reached, the charger automatically switches in to “trickle charge” mode; this low voltage supply ensures that the batteries are fully charged when you need them, but that they will not be over-charged and as such avoids the risk of long-term damage to the batteries.
Through the use of an advanced micro-processor unit, the charger will also scrutinise charging status with both voltage and temperature monitors to ensure safe and efficient charging.
